I am your father’s new wife but we did not agree for you to become my problem. Now it is MY responsibility to get you clean, full, get your homework done, drive around and get knowledge crammed into your head because your father expects ME to help you get a good report card.
It breaks my heart to know that your own mother did not want you, yet your umbilical cord was connect to her. Blood is thicker than water.
It feels SO terribly unfair to me because I can NOT love you the way I love my own blood child. THIS causes conflict between me and your father because he can NOT understand it, because you carry HIS blood and surname.
